So am I.

Stand by what you say...or don't say it.

I realize that. What if I wanted to get rid of another 20,000 shares of DTOX (I currently don't own any). Lets say I post that I just talked to someone at the company and understand they are signing a 10 year contract to provide all the detoxification services for the US prison system tomorrow. That would increase the value of the stock 1,000 fold. I now quickly sell my shares. Once I have sold my shares, I now remove my post. No evidence for the SEC or anybody about how I broke the law! That is what worries me. I wouldn't be as concern if this wasn't a financial site.

I believe the ability to edit posts for up to 24 hours would open SI for a lot of scam operations. If you would have asked me this 2 months ago, I would have agreed with you. I have thought about it a lot since. Sorry Cheeky, this is one of the few times I disagree with.
