What?

Same weight in dough. Okay you get two round cookies instead of two half pieces. Round or half-moon (or square or whatever) you still get the same calories. E.g., after a split, the company has no additional earning power.

Remember earnings? That's what used to drive stock prices. Oh, and crowd-madness, too--the euphoria and complacency that always accompanies market bubbles.
