COMS beat their numbers due to cost cutting... but if your position is that COMS is positioned to take advantage of the upcoming wireless explosion - they are no better positioned in wireless then they were with traditional communications.

Going after wireless appliances is a low margin highly competitive market which may yeild good revenue growth for PALM (soon to be divested) but with ever shrinking margins.. If PALM is managed anything like COMS NIC/modem business it could be ugly. COMS can't afford to blow a lead in yet another market.

The fact is that wireless users will increase usage of the net and the real winners will be the companies building infrastructure - not the companies selling the appliances on the end points.
