OJ, please...don't go bearish on me...<gg> seriously, you're right about one thing: as bad as all the internals look, bearishness has increased markedly, at least according to the polls. looking at dollar volume in OEX puts however, there seems to be no rush to play the downside or hedge against a nasty. lately i've seen a few big bets being made in the OEX options on a bounce...often that means there will be no bounce. still, you have to admire how the market keeps on holding up in the face of a lot of negativity. regards, hb
