hi james... NAIC stand a for national association of investors corporation. it is a non-profit group that offers investment education to individuals and investment clubs (i believe the beardstown ladies adhere to the NAIC principles). it believes in investing regularly (regardless of the market outlook), reinvesting all earnings, investing in growth companies, and diversifying to minimize risk. though i understand some may think these principles are not in vogue right now, the NAIC has a very impressive track record. their web site can be found at: better-investing.org hopes this helps.
