PB,
>> kash - <So volumes of 667 and 733 parts will be

>WRONG!

Why, because of VIA or because of low-end 810e chipset?

Charles, Kap, Ten, Kash, Petz: Thank you for your reasoned replies to my earlier questions. Your reward is to be bugged for further insights. To wit: Process Boy has hinted hard that Intel has a way around the chipset roadblock that will allow them to ship 7xx CUmines in quant. What do you think? Process Boy: I know you feel limited in what you may disclose, but how about this: Is it your personal opinion that Intel has already manufactured a non-rambus chipset solution that will allow 7xx CUmines to ship in the quantities your fabs are capable of producing?

Longs: The risk picture: If Athlon fails as badly as Paul Engel hopes it does, do you see any floor under AMDs stock, and if so what?

Buying opportunities: Since the tectonic slip in Taiwan has barely dented the stock so far, do you see any other bad news driving the stock much lower short-term? (Where bad news that WOULD NOT be buying opps is defined as events like IBM dropping Athlon)

TIA, again
Vince

PB,

So will most 667 and 733 CPU's use camino at all?

If camino 820 is 5% of build.

Then majority will be using the 100Mhz SDRAM.

The whole thing is bizzarre.

regards,

Kash
