Hi CC:

Great response as always. The more important issue for Dunn & Bradstreet as I see it is simply this, with the advent of the net and the ever growing popularity of out sourcing the work, if they don't get to solving these issues quickly & reinventing themselves, then I fear they will become the old data collection system who failed to modernize and a younger more tech oriented company will move in and replace them with the NSI model.

Microsoft almost missed the entire internet market, Dell almost missed the $999.00 computer market and on and on we can site examples of very large companies who missed great opportunities. Both Microsoft & Dell were able to turn on a dime & reinvent themselves and become a leader in these 'almost missed' markets. Gates & Dell are both very hands on, does D&B have such players to move quickly?

Dunn & Bradstreet are clearly the monster in data collection, but there is a number two & three on that list and should they see the writing on the wall and take on the model NSI has developed, then surely we'll see a new number one player emerge and very quickly as well. As you know, your window to change or take advantage of opportunities is getting smaller all the time. Thus, those that have the vision and ability to move quickly will not only survive but stay on top of their game.

It's clear by now that NSI has built a better mouse trap, I can only hope that after the D&B directors meeting they are in fact taking all of this seriously enough to engage a short time line solution to a problem that could & likely will see them out of business.

Fortunately for D&B, NSI is ready to be that quick fix solution. NSI is not 2 months or 2 years away from proving their model, it has be proven and is ready now. Now let's hope someone upstairs at D&B is prepared to move and help save this data collector and thus able to be the turn around kid of the year.

Either way NSI wins, if D&B aren't doing the due diligence and moving quickly to solve these major issues, someone else will. Data mining will be bigger in the future than ever before because of the net.

When you dig deep into data mining and it's future potential, the growth for NSI is mind boggling. There are no models out there now to say they could be as big as A or B or C as NSI is truly the most unique in their field, using the net & their out sourcing model.

Cheers,

Mike
