JR, CGI need to position themselves more and more in the internet (e-comm) since it will become a large portion of their contracts , at one point. But it's not only that!

It's what you said. E-comm will more and more be outsourced. That's what IFM is there for. CGI already serves as an independent IT middle man for the payroll processing, ATM machines... E-comm is the obvious next step!

And you're right! They only acquire companies with a positive bottom-line. That's why I said this acquisition will not take place before the year 2001. Some of IFM major contracts will start adding to their bottom-line and along with their rationalization of expenses, they should be ready by then.

As far as combining the 2 together, have you heard the rumors about Bell Canada being merged or acquiring Bell Mobility? Monty said it himself in a televised interview: "In the future, consumers will have only ONE invoice for internet, home phone and cellular".

I expect that by that time, IFM will add about $250-$300M to CGI's revenues with profits of about $15M-$18M.

Those are my guestimates!
