>Wasn't EPAY one of those Crafty wonder-picks? I think he had a price target somewhere around $40 a share, and when it ran around $100, he kept it as a buy, I couldn't find that comment. do you have it handy(wouldn't surprise me too much though.) However, he and other analysts(and interested partied) knew this was coming down rhe pipe line. SO I figured at 12 1/4 was a bit oversold. That was a market cap of roughly 130MM for an up 'till now profiable company. What's your take on theirbusiness model? "fire in the threatre" or just fair warning it's gonna cost to expand? FWIW, I think they(the company) played down the earnings pretty good in their conference call previous to earnings, and until they resume their record of profitable quarters is fair valuued in the $22-$25 range. But we are all too experienced at how wallstreet over reacts, even when they know it's coming. Here's what I got out of Ole Crafty on the subject #reply-10498391 >>>>and when it ran around $100, he kept it as a buy, saying something like,"let the market determine the fair price." I guess the market is speaking.Another reason I firmly believe ananysts should keep their mouths shut about putting price targets on stocks. Recomend a company's stock. but no price targets please. it causes a mad rush to that top(sometimes in days). At that point do they downgrade a stock because it has performed? Especially with internets where a target is set, it's almost like a race to see how fast it can reach that goal(regardless of future prospects or short comings). Internet moves things in light years comapred to the old tried and true blue chips. Price targets on the inuts are a joke too and anyone who listens to them is just one paying their price for admission. TG I'm not an analyst. p.s. damn cat woke me up from a dream, I was showing horses. now I gotta figure if it is worth trying to find that dream again or start brewing the coffee. p.p.s. yeah, maybe they'll bring it down to $5.75 for us. BTW, I can remember ananysts throwing targets all over the place for ckfr on almost every quarterly report here for the past two years.
