KZ,

The Dell specs for the new Optiplex GX200 and GX300, which were released by accident back on 8/30, indicate three gold plated RIMM slots supporting 64MB to 1GB ECC or non-ECC PC700 RDRAM. I have a printed copy in front of me.

KZ,

But I thought I remembered seeing 2 RIMMs and 3 DIMMs.

No, unless they reversed the labelling on the packages in the photos. I checked multiple times -- the box that says RDRAM on it has 3 sockets, the one that says SDRAM has 2.
