My wife is a manufacturing planner for a small semi house that uses TSMC as their fab. When I mentioned some details I had heard about diffusion quartz oven tubes being damaged at TSMC and UMC, the first word from her mouth was AMAT.

AMAT was up over $2.00 yesterday, btw. Down a bit this morning.

Bosco, to AMAT you may want to add some CYMI since their lasers are quite sensitive. Don't expect in any cases full systems, these are all modular systems and only replacement of some sensitive parts and repairs would probably needed. In any event, the bigger picture is a general decline in the market with a Dow theory sell signal in force now, so staying on the side line for few weeks might not be that bad.
