I have no desire to deligitimate Israel, and I am well aware of the extenuating circumstances. I do believe that we should be using the leverage of our aid much more aggressively to promote a negotiated settlement. I also like to cut through some of the crap that gets spilled around. There is some very interesting information in the book I recommended (the source of the quotes I've provided) on Zionist activity prior to World War II.
