AOL to launch Hong Kong service next week

HONG KONG, Sept 23 (Reuters) - America Online Inc said its chairman,
Steve Case, would join China.com Corp chief executive Peter Yip and
China Internet Corp to launch the new AOL Hong Kong service next week.

The U.S. internet services giant said in a statement it would hold a news conference to announce the details next Tuesday, September 28.

America Online has been developing the Chinese-language AOL Hong
Kong service in partnership with China Internet Corp for several months. America Online owns about eight percent of Nasdaq-listed China.com, which is a sister company of China Internet.
