from what i read the news from Taiwan, the big problem is power outage for those fabs. without power, they even can not get into some areas to assess the damage. the say is they need 2 to 4 weeks to get normal production for some fabs. it seems no body knows how big impact for PC makers as a whole because the quakes.

I agree Larry. The fabs will come back on line at some point. The damage is not permanent.
