I may sell mine for now and re-enter again later

Glenn, Just my thoughts re-the above:
1. I know that William has been "long" Pcln for a long time but I do not know the details but I sorta F/U his Amzn and am sorta making the following assumptions: He bought his Amzn position in Jan/Feb 99 and is still holding them with around $110/$120 presplit ($55/$60 after split) averages. He did not sell those shares in 4/99 so why now? Those shares will give him a L-t cap. gain(if any) in 2/2000 and will be deferred to 4/2001.

However, you have a competitive advantage that William does not have, any short-term cap. gain is just cold cash for you, period. If you made $10K in stocks such as Pcln in 2 days/weeks, take the $$ and don't look back. I think that you will have to be non-emotional about it and don't look back two days later with a :( face.

I think that we each have our own niche(an on-going development). We listen and try to figure out what the MARKET is telling each and all, but invest/trade according to our own competitive advantages.
