I think that the next quarter numbers are going to show a dramatic increase in Brocade market share, and that this will change, if at all, on in mid-2000. Many on this Board said that IBM OEM didn't matter because it was way behind SUN, and wouldn't be ready until next year. That turned out to be inaccurate. What becomes clearer is that at times the Board is the last to know what is going on in the marketplace.

I am also concerned now that SUN is falling behind, for whatever reason. Where is its' product with the Ancor switch? Will SUN have to follow the VARs lead and go with what is ready now? To my way of thinking, SUN has to get into the marketplace in a hurry, and I hope it is with the result of the announcement of June 4th, which we later learned was more of a product development announcement than an OEM announcement of a product ready to roll out?

Does anyone else see it this way?
