Don't be so critical about your appearances, Bill - we like them! -g- Seriously, you are not one of those strategists with significant bearish view as well as bearish bets, are you?

Bill, what bugs me about the nas is that people are buying the top technology names of TODAY...what about tomorrow...?
some penny ante company on the pink sheets might come up with the brilliant technology of the new millenium and displace a nasdaq leader..stocks will only get into the nas 100 when they are already winners..

Bill, i agree...what's more, those analysts that are bearish have solid technical reasons this time around. and as mentioned by Mohan earlier, there's bearish talk, but not much bearish commitment. i expect one final hitch back to the trend line the Dow broke through concurrent with the short covering rally in the tech stocks and thereafter we could see a real debacle...
sure enough, as you say, when they ask the interviewees on CNBC where they would put their money, the standard answer is "technology". i never heard even one of them say that these stocks are really outrageously overvalued. to recommend investing in the sector at this time borders on the criminal imo.
