Further to Haddington International's news release in Stockwatch Nov. 15, 1999,
regarding its acquisition of Tanzanian gold projects, the company has released
further information regarding the resource figures for the Tanzanian gold projects.
The estimated inferred resource of 487,000 in situ ounces of gold (5.2 million
tonnes at three grams per tonne Au) on the Kasabuya property has been sourced
from reports completed by JCI (Tanzania) Ltd., which conducted exploration
work on the licence from 1996 to 1998. The estimated inferred resource of
110,000 in situ ounces of gold on the Negoti North property has been sourced
from reports completed by Anglo American Corp., which conducted exploration
work on the licence from 1996 to 1997.
The company has commissioned the firm of Wilkinson and Associates to prepare
an independent report on the projects including the resource calculations. This
report will be filed with the Vancouver Stock Exchange as part of the filing
requirements for the acquisition.

In Stockwatch Nov. 15, 1999, Haddington International Resources had declared
that it reached agreement to acquire an interest in six gold prospecting licences in
Tanzania, East Africa. Pursuant to an agreement with Teck Corp. dated Nov. 21,
1991, Teck has the right to enter into an option agreement over any new mineral
properties acquired by Haddington.
Haddington is pleased to announce that Teck has exercised its option with respect
to the Tanzanian gold properties being acquired by the company. If Haddington
completes a preliminary feasibility study on the mineral properties, then Teck will
have the right to arrange the financing of the costs, including further exploration,
development and construction costs, of bringing the properties into commercial
production.
The acquisition of the gold projects in Tanzania remains subject to completion of
due diligence and the approval of the Canadian Venture Exchange.
