I also gotta say that clearly EVERYBODIES gone to neutral corners where trading in VLNC shares is concerned. Why? Well, dividing volume transacted so far, 42,900, by the NASDAQ's double counting rule gives us true volume of ~21.9K shares, signaling a modicum of interest.

But even more telling than this is the MM's willingness to shave their own profit potential in an attempt to entice buying/selling. That is, a spread so tight it rivals the seams in the walls built by the Mayans/Toltec's of South American. A mere 1/32nd of a spread. You can't get a razor blade between a spread like that! ;-)

Anyway, this activity makes it appear everybody must be thinking VLNC may be close to something, but nobody's willing to bet their monies. Kind'a like intermission before the next round, eh? HEY, it just might be the PERFECT time to sneak in a buy!! Heh!

John~

John,
Is there any significance to the last insider transaction reported taking place on 8-24-99 , specifically, relative to 30 day quiet period for insider transactions? Does the restricted period apply in this case and what time period does current reporting cover? Thanks in advance....geep....9-23-99
