OPEC Not Worried

quote.bloomberg.com

OPEC nations say they aren't worried about the new
competition. Increased non-OPEC production will only boost the
world's dependence on crude, which will eventually help OPEC,
which has 75 percent of the world's known oil reserves, an OPEC
official from the Persian Gulf said.

next decade, even though some countries are experimenting with
alternative energy sources and more efficient consumption, he
said.
