But looking at it as a populist, he does the logical thing in bolting the GOP in search of a more effective platform from which to shout his message. >GW isn't the enemy and even if he is in Buchanan's mind, as far as I'm concerned he is aiding and abetting Algore and Bradley, both of whom I find completely unacceptable.< Of course GW is not the enemy. But Buchanan likely thinks he and his views will ever remain stepchildren within GOP politics, and I think he is absolutely correct. He wants to change his allegiances, perchance to find himself top dog in some other junkyard. It makes good sense, though his going to the Reform Party is patently ridiculous.
