Point taken, Banchee. . . A few thoughts along those lines. . . William is specializing in the smaller picks these days, though I have been posting on Fishing thread lately. Also, there has been direct opposition to many of the tiny stocks that I post. . .nearly immediately. . .but most importantly, with the money and percentage gains we are seeing in these larger stocks, there is less reason to play the smaller ones for any sort of play OTHER than as a sleeper. And if you need to buy less than a hundred shares of an issue, because it has a high per share price. . . you will not be alone. And as long as we are on SI. . .this thread is a catch all for all of our trading specialties. . which often change as often as the market swings. . . whereas later we will be dividing our posting up over boards dedicated to specific trading styles. That will greatly help those ONLY playing certain types of plays on certain days. . . so we don't have to read through dozens of posts that don't relate. Far more sensible for what we are attempting to do as we trade as a team. . . . the HOME team. . .<g> OT> Now speaking of baseball cards. . .I am glad they are making a comeback. . .perhaps I can get top dollar for my Tom Seaver rookies [that I got in the pack as a kid]. . .and wonder what my Roger Clemens autographed photo combined with mint condition rookie card is worth these days. . .bought when he won his second Cy Young. Still wish I had sold whatever I needed to sell to get that '63 Fleer set in mint condition. . . I bought the Mays and a few others from it. . .but I should have bought the whole thing. . . it is nearly impossible to find that set in the condition I saw it. . . . Now if stamps would come back, I could sell some of my key issues and use the money to complete my 20th century type set with coins. . .MS-65 or proof only. . .missing the key Barbers. <smirk> Started this set in 1970. Anybody collect old Mustang convertibles? . . . LOL!!! Hey, while were at it. . .I'm looking for an original condition Mini-Moog with no modifications. . . and would consider selling my 1928 Conn trumpet in excellent condition. I guess in a way. . .I've been buying and selling investments of sorts since I was 7. Rande Is
