I read voluminous materials on the financial markets and it has been my experience that most books published on the subject are outdated or poorly written. Market Wizards I and II by Jack Schwagger are among my favorite books for the insight and you are correct it can be read on many levels. I usually read both books once or twice a year and after each reading always come away with new insights. IMO, they are the best books on pure trading bar none.

Jack Schwagger has also published books on fundamental and technical analysis and the futures markets and though expensive are a must have for the professional investor.
