EBAY and the "Slim Jim" Pattern -

intelligentspeculator.com

Kevin Haggerty coined the term "Slim Jim" for the many, many NASDAQ stocks that seem to make these kinds of consolidations during the day. Typically people want to trade them from the long side.

There?s a new book from the people at tradehard.com called The Tradehard.com Guide to Conquering the Trading Markets. It contains chapters contributed by Mark Boucher, Larry Connors, Jeff Cooper, Kevin Haggerty, David Landry, Manuel Ochoa and Dr. Robert Pisani. It gives nice detailed entry points for many of their favorite short-term set ups, including the cup and handle pattern, and how to trade pullbacks. Check it out at
amazon.com -8001863 You can?t really beat it for $20

For newcomers to technical analysis, we highly recommend Jack Schwager's Getting Started in Technical Analysis
amazon.com -8001863 It sells for $15 and between the two books, it?s the cheapest and best way to quickly pick up technical analysis we can think of.

What do you trade?
