Issued by GALT last night at 7:30 E.T.. I guess GALT KNOWS their chips weren't in "the oven" when the quake hit. Almost 100% of GALTS chips come from TSM.

Q3 Impact From Taiwan Earthquake

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sep 22, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Galileo Technology Ltd.
(Nasdaq:GALT) today stated that based on initial information that it has obtained from Taiwan
Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and ASE Test, Inc., it does not expect Monday's
earthquake in Taiwan to have any impact on its revenue or earnings for the quarter ending
September 30, 1999.

George Hervey, Galileo Technology CFO, stated, "We have already received from our suppliers all
of the products necessary to meet our revenue and earnings goals for Q3. In addition over the last
several months, in response to strong customer demand for our products and longer leadtimes from
TSMC we have increased our work in process and on hand inventory levels which provides us with
