Hi Mattie:

Regarding WIND.

Just noticed WIND has crept back up to the $20 level. I expect some profit taking then the break out.

This has been a favorite (company not stock) for a couple of years when Judy brought it to my attention as a story stock. It does appear that its gotten over the technical damage from January and H&Q has become positive on the company again.

Is your opinion technical? My read from a P&F chart is that it may be entering a trading range with a bearish resistance line trending down from 21 and a support line trending up from 13 (with a top now of 19.5, the breakout point and 15 the bottom).

Fundamentally (excluding what is going on in the market at the momment) I feel they have to get through one more quarter before growth starts to pick up (and forward looking now would be a good time to enter positions around 17).

JMO I've been wrong before on timing but I feel we've seen the semi leadership stopped in its tracks with Taiwan and software (wind) and communications will be the next leaders.
