Ok, I'll never use any sense of symbolism or metaphoric speech again... NOT. Well, I can see our discussions are fruitless. If there is a God who brought us into creation, I don't see how such a short life spent largely sleeping and laboring (no matter how nice a job you may have) could be considered a gift, especially to all those suffering, as you mentioned. What you believe of Heaven is irrelevant, since it was never a part of the question I posed to you here. If there is no soul, why then have so many had out of body experiences? Even a large number of disbelievers have claimed to have such an experience. I guess our philosophies are just too far different for me to even begin to understand your take on all this, not to say I don't understand what you are saying, I just can't get a feel for it.
