ted - <I am sure you are right; however for CNBC at least, it is more impressive to them to say intc is down 6 on motherboard concerns, than AMD is down 8%. As an AMD long, its hard to admit but the intc name causes more reaction> I was just teasing you. I was pretty sure you spotted the obvious. :-). BTW, I'll say this here too, as I know some of the AMD threadsters do not jump over to the Intel thread: To SI at large: Although I work for Intel, I am just as much in the dark as anybody regarding all the MB and chipset issues that are currently circulating. Please don't look to me for insights that are worth a damn. :-). PB
