Haim,

I've got to admit that I started to follow you a few months ago. I read what you had to say about the "pension" stuff and then started to wonder if that was indeed true then the EPS numbers going forward would be looked upon as "unreliable".

Then a few weeks ago the productivity number showed a slight decline (I realize that one point down does not make a trend)...and since this is one of the important things needed to keep this going (http://www.stockmotions.com/SMarticles/productivity.htm) ...and given the toppiness of the techs (one of the only sectors left in the mania)....and given that the Cumulative A/D line continued its collapse (http://www.stockmotions.com/Indicators%20Charts.htm) , taking out lows established 2-1/2 years ago....and given that new lows were consitently in the high 100's and low 200's....and given that the Dow's 50 MA went into a declining mode on Monday....

Anyway, this week is no surprise to me...which is why my newsletter portfolio is 70% cash as of two weeks ago (after enjoying the nice tech ride before that...yes, the newsletter exit was a week or so early but it no longer looks like a bad call)...and up over 40% for the year [gotta give myself a pat on the back for that]

In addition, I don't see any signs of capitulation....which to me means that the worst isn't over.

Paulo
