I commented on the YHOO thread that someone from SNDK should say something - silence is not acceptable. I got the following response:
****************************

I need to be careful what I say here, but I'll tell you a few things to sooth your nerves:

I just spoke with a knowledgeable source of mine at SNDK. He/she told me 3 key things:

1. The region where SNDK manufactures in Taiwan was stable, and far less hit than other areas. It already has 80% of its power back, and all manufacturing facilities should be going at near capacity within the week.

2. SNDK will issue a press release to this effect either this evening or before the market opens tomorrow.

3. SNDK expects little to no impact on either Q3 or Q4 earnings.
