Ballmer makes these comments in a helpful effort to drive the stock lower for new employee options being granted. employees options expire worthless if the stock remains too high as current options granted are generally granted only slightly below current market prices. anyway, this is what was suggested to me.

that I would cast my share votes to have Ballmer fired ROFLMAO!!! I can't believe the STUPID comments on this thread about Ballmer. You might as well try and talk MSD out of office. Actually, you would have an easier time - Gates and Ballmer control more of MSFT than MSD does of DELL. Ballmer alone has more than 8%. You would have to look hard to find a management team who has done more for their shareholders than MSFT has. These comments look pretty naive to me - do you guys think he just shot off his mouth?

Frank did it ever appear to you that you are blaming the wrong guy?? Ballmer was honest and told the truth and I have even more respect for the guy even if he has an hidden agenda. As to your quote *"We should not tolerate this kind of criminal arrogance from any company executive. "* there are other executives in the High Tech area who release misleading financial statements, use pension fund to increase the company profits, do nothing but promote the stock of their company or paint overly rosy picture of the future business prospects, advetise heavy with the sole purpose to push their company stock higher. IMHO they deserve the label you try to put on Ballmer. BWDIK Haim
