O/T: Gary Burton and Slider, My apologies. Please understand that my last two post to Slider were strictly for Slider's benefit/enjoyment. Just having fun with words and writing style. I actually enjoy Slider's style - upbeat, informative and fun. Gary, I'm hardly new to the thread, I've been here from before the bottom of the cycle and have benefited from postings by all the regulars (Slider included). I've taken Slider's advice on many occasions. The truth is, I've recently begun to question Slider's integrity. I don't think people enjoy being criticized for following one of Sliders' "buy now" recommendations and then not trading in/out with effectiveness. The penchant for being "in my face" is getting old. Instead of saying something like, "shame on anyone still holding MEXP through the recent downturn," it would be better to educate us on how to play the volatility. Slider, many of us wouldn't even know how to get started.....# of computers, software, level II stuff, $ services. Don't have the tools nor the knowledge, so don't criticize us for not making all the right plays. Slider, no way I can follow you daily/weekly. I just try to find a few good "entry points," and then hold on tight. Okay, just so you know where I'm coming from, here's what I'm holding (entry point): FLC (5 3/8) largest holding, SDC (11 3/8), RIG (25), MDR (22 1/2), RRC (4 3/4), EEX (4 3/4), HLX (5 3/4) and MEXP (2 1/16). The only stocks I've been in/out of is ESV and RDC. From ESV at $10 I've made 5 moves (in/out); the most recent was a week or so ago when I sold ESV at $23 3/4. No, I have not enjoyed watching RRC, EEX and MEXP the last few days. Gary, please understand that I would never consider posting, in the manner I did to Slider, on a regular basis. I respect your comments and realize I shouldn't have pressed Slider in that way. My apologies to Slider. Hope I can make a positive contribution to the thread going forward. Sincerely, Andrew
