I think that VECO started down before Taiwan, but maybe it has something to do with it. Look at it from another angle; shoartage of DD's and prices go up. Thus the DD mfgs have more money to spend on capital equipment.

At any rate, the need for DD's does not go down because of the earthquake, so eventually the number of drives sold will be the same, earthqauke or not).

Short SEG?? Might be a decent hedge. I cannot afford the margin at this point (I'm saving it :) )
