Jeez, I feel like I'm doing telemedicine here.

1. If large spoon is borderline, go for the soup ladle. You should have one in one of those drawers somewhere. Alternatively, if you have a turkey baster, and the green stuff is still liquid, squeeze bulb on turkey baster tightly, hold opening to green goop, then release pressure on bulb. Goop should be sucked noisily into baster. Repeat as needed.

2. If soup ladle or baster clearly inadequate, use filter. Paper only though, not one of those ridiculously expensive gold re-useable ones. Or at least don't let spouse see you do it or you are burnt melbas.

And whatever you do, do not repeat do not actually touch the light green slime unless wearing gloves suitable for use with chemical solvents.
