CBurnett: X-Stream according to their Web Site is operating on a much faster pace than just 28, they brag about it, so that should also give XSNI the big European mover an advantage over other Free Internet companies. In Canada CRTC just passed a ruling that all ISP companies can offer cable Internet speed, if they want too, and the cable companies have to sell to them at 25% off the minimum price, it's now the LAW. If i could have XSNI speed for free I would drop my $58.00 per month charge in a flash on my cable. I'm also hooked up to the phone on my Lap Top, there is no big difference, that line cost $38.00 per month, about $100.00/month in total.- There was also large hook up fees for the cable.

Seeing that AOL is down over 50% from its April high, just what is it that has caused such a drastic decline?

Free ISP's in Europe are different from those in the US. For starters, they receive a percentage of the phone call charge; 30% I recall but I may be wrong. Also the demographics are different. Nevertheless, the poster may be correct. Let's see how Netzero does tomorrow. There couldn't be a worse time to IPO.
