No problem Zeb.

That's the only way to find out about other companies.

I like JBRD.

ETPI is another reporting OTC-BB with positive cash-flow and earnings.
Not too many of those around.

Zeb, a few comments on JBRD.
First, all of their press releases regarding Christine Ohlman amount to zero. She is featured now and then on SNL, but no one in NY takes her very seriouusly and NO ONE buys her records. She is well known around town, but in the same way that the more popular jingle singers are well known. The PR that says

"A real buzz in the Northeast has already started for this record and we expect that buzz to spread
nationally upon its retail release''.

is total bullshit. There is no buzz that I am aware of...

There may be compelling reasons to look at this stock further, but I see nothing in the recent PR's that make me want to rush out and buy this.

I remember looking at it a year or so ago when Joe Copia was playing it as a daytrade.... I missed the spike and felt it was not worth persuing.

These little music companies can be tricky, I know of one in NYC that has been mentioned on SI many times in connection with Pokemon. People think it is a great company on the verge of taking off. In reality, it is a cash sucking machine that has to borrow money to pay it s bills, and all of the writers are fed up and getting ready to quit if things don t change RADICALLY soon. They were making a lot more money with MUCH lower overhead before they went public. The only one making any money is the man behind the scenes. This kind of shit is the norm, not the exception.

There is one music related stock that I am looking at seriously. MKIE
I use their products, which have revolutionized small studio recording, and they are introducing a line of new products. I don t know how investors will react or indeed if anyone will notice, but there is NO question that they have superior products and a huge, expanding and totally loyal consumer base.

They are unveiling a new line of digital audio recorders at the AES show (starts today in NYC - I am attending on Monday) so there should be a major buzz in the industry, and perhaps some motion in the stock...

I haven t bought any, and I may not, but I mention it because it is a great company in a solid area of the music industry....

cheers
