Haim, that's right...and it was utterly cynical how WS reacted to the tragedy in Taiwan. serves them right that this turned out to be a dud upon reflection.

Haim you can't think of POS in terms of DRAM pricing this month.
Stock price is arbitrarily related to the fundamentals, what does it
matter that they can earn $2 in a certain year when the year after
they will again lose $1, etc. Talk fundamentals, CDD estimates have
been adjusted so they will "only" bring home $4 per share in current year, stock price has been hammered by 25% to $33. Explain that one in relation to MU at $100. more likely to lose $4 than to earn 10 cents. And with all the stock shenanigans, to boot. All you can do
is send Steve Balmer some flowers (C.O.D., of course - he can afford it). Of course, OTOH, there is likely to be method to his madness,
he speaks the truth and Microsoft can finally begin to catch up on
its stock buybacks? They can also make cheaper cash acquisitions.
