You're obviously a fan of Ballmer but not one of the market nor company fundamentals.

"If the market were to drop 30%"
target companies would also be cheaper.
- Of course it would, but that's not the point...

"no longer consider[ed]...a cutting-edge place to work"
because ballmer said stock price too high?
- It's well documented that key employees like CTO Myhrvold had left MSFT in the past year. And new employees would rather join a dynamic start up for something more challenging and potentially more lucrative.. like a RHAT or PHCM. The WSJ or any reputable publications will tell you this....

"Guess where the stock price needs to go"
earnings will drive the stock--not ballmer's words.
-Again, you completely missed the point.

"With Billions in MSFT paper profit"
guess he's not as dumb as people say.
- You don't have to be smart to win powerball.

"massive buyings of MSFT long-dated puts"
how do you know that?
-If you've ever worked on a trading desk, you'll
hear things you'll never see on cnbc. This was
also reported by TSCM, but you're probably too busy
to subscribe.

"Address: Investor Relations Department"
at $500 per attorney hour?--get serious.
- If you own 100 shares, this might seem like alot.
