When E-machines first made news-I posted it and similar companies showed average selling price would (within a couple of years) come down dramatically for consumer and business computers. E-machines has grabbed an amazing share of the market. Now, Dell is making even greater attempts to move into the consumer market. Of, course, great computers are so cheap, that Dell can sell a great computer for very little, and many will buy it because it is a great computer even if it is quite a bit more expensive than one made by E-machines or similar companies.
