However, Repubs love pork too.

Saw on ABC News tonight that Trent Lott is spending a billion and a half to build a new ship that the Navy neither needs or wants. Of course the shipbuilder is in his home state. Makes me puke. As does Clinton when he calls the tax cut that he vetoed "bloated". An apt description of his midsection, ego, and the federal government as well.

From the September Libertarian Party News: "Under this Republican proposal, annual federal revenue will still increase by at least 38.9% over the next decade. Without the tax cut, it would grow by 43%."

Four cents on the dollar is indeed about all the difference there is between Reps and Dems. Maybe the public will wake up some day to the way they're being ripped off and scammed, but I won't hold my breath.

I want my money back.

Me too, but I'd rather that it wasn't extorted from me in the first place.
