My guess remains that , in one way or another, they will sell storage someday (and the debt with it) ...but what they finally decide to do short to medium term will depend upon market reaction to iNEXT's launch (or,in other words, the AXC share price and volume).
In any case, I agree with Jubimer's point that the leading shareholder of Ampex is calling the shots ....he will do his best to maximize the value of his ( and our) shares.
However ---- as Maria Bartoroma ( sp???) said in her intro to Hugh Downs " (he) is taking a leap of faith into the internet. " So are we.

Everyone jumped on me at once, so I'll answer them in turn. First your question, Hugh:

You say "if we IPO then Ampex will be flush with cash."

This is not normally the case. Normally after the IPO iNEXTV would be flush with cash, but not Ampex. It is true that Ampex could sell some shares at the IPO, but if the amount is very high it would significantly decrease the value of the IPO. It would be better if they did like FFIV, where they do the IPO, then after the market runs the price up, they follow with a secondary which consists primarily of stock owned by "selling shareholders", in other words, Ampex. After the secondary, Ampex would have some cash.
