Broadband, in spite of Bob Pittman's comments to the contrary, is a big issue for AOL.

You don't think AOL style DSL, delivered by the RBOC's, will enable AOL to at least maintain, if not stretch its lead?

We are going to see a lot of ads from AOL that "high speed is here and its hot and it's easy" between now and Christmas.

Meanwhile, I am still chuckling and shaking my head at the comments coming out of Microsoft. They are in disarray. "Our MSN price will be zero!"....no, wait a minute..."MSN price is going up $2.00 this fall"..... "We were vastly over-quoted on free ISP service"...."All the i-nuts are overpriced, including us".

I think Microsoft execs may have post-traumatic stress syndrome from the trial...
