WSJ-Heard on the Street

Today, 9/24/99, column reflects upon the Taiwan quake and chip makers. PMCS was not specifically mentioned. The article focused strictly on US firms.
The gist of the article was that chip makers would benefit and the box makers, due to higher costs for components, would be hurt.
Micron,Altera,Xilinx & Atmel were mentioned as benefiting while Dell,Compaq,Apple & Gateway, which all got killed thursday would be the victims.
Subscription needed to view WSJ online. That's why I didn't provide a link since access would be blocked.
