WebDunia: email and on line chats in Hindi, Malayalam. Hope Tamil is next. Recently I downloaded a Tamil software by name Murasu Anjal. With this I could write Tamil phonetically on the keyboard with excellent results. Hope U find a Malayalam software.

CHENNAI, Sept. 23

ITALY has opened its trade commission office here to cater to the needs of South India. After New Delhi and Mumbai this is the third office to be opened in India.
According to Dr. Zoni, machinery contributed 60 per cent of Italian exports to India. It is followed by chemicals and processed food.
About 30 per cent of Indian exports to Italy was textile products,followed by leather, spices, seafood, coffee and tea.

US sanctions have little impact on India & Pakistan

WASHINGTON: U.S. trade sanctions against nuclear rivals India and Pakistan have had a minimal impact on the two developing economies, as Japanese, European and Asian suppliers stepped in to fill the void, a U.S. government report said Thursday, reports Reuters.

The U.S. International Trade Commission said the economic sanctions, which were imposed by Washington in May 1998 after the countries conducted tit-for-tat nuclear tests, have cost India's economy as little as $320 million and Pakistan only $57 million......
