OMB <<Keep in mind re. sin---God's standard is holiness---perfection---we don't "think" and
interpret like God. We can't because we have an inner nature that is sinful.>>

Seems we like to assign human qualities to God OMB. Sorry OMB that inner nature is God and not sinful. Now I will not
bother to quote hundreds of verses in your new testament unless requested to do so by you in this regard. You can, like others say it is selective reading, out of context or whatever, but it is in your bible. I quote the bible as that is your limited reference book and not my choice. I reiterate it is a Roman forgery.

To me that is the biggest crime and lie propigated by the Roman religion and bible they created. Replacing mans inner self of God with an inner nature of sin and putting God outside the self in another dimension.

I will forever aver that it is the desires of the first man of our duality (Adam - human) the animal in us is the only possible sinner and the second man (Paul states is the Lord from Heaven) therefore incapable of sinning or "being" a sinner.

That inner self is always right and should ne nurtured and obeyed. Most of us confuse this inner nature speaking with personal ideas of desire.

Barney,

That is where we will disagree, my friend.

I do not believe that people must be taught to be good and that they are born sinful. People may need to be taught social skills, but even babies love. Love is the root and foundation of all that is good. No one teaches a baby to love, it is natural. People knew how to be good and loved quite naturally way before Jews or Christians ever roamed the earth.

On this issue, we will have to agree to disagree.

Mark

<< We can't because we have an inner nature that is sinful. We don't teach our children to be bad---they already know how to behave that way ... >>

Man's DNA determines his sinful nature. Some are born sinful, some are not, some are in between.

I've worked with kids all my life. Some are really nasty, some are really great. This disparity also occurs within the same family.

Some adults do teach their children to be bad. Some kids are born bad, some are born good. It's the luck of the draw.

On what do you base your scientific genetic beliefs?

Two navy airman jailed for killing seven pregnant cows reports today's Reno, Nevada newspaper.
Now which is the worst sin? To kill those seven cows or abort an unborn baby?
