Hi, you said "In deference to Terayon, the standards body
that sets compatibility standards will be incorporating S-CDMA protocols into the compatibility standards in an
upcoming release. But that will not be established for quite a while yet. In the meantime, they are out on their own.
First they have to wait for the new standard to be approved, then design it into their system,..."

I'd just add that Terayon itself was chosen by the standards body and helped write
the future standard- and they are unique in already deploying S-CDMA. S-CDMA should work well over cable, with fine potential for future improvements, no?
