FWIW about NEM Deutsche bank say "Has US$29 tgt; highly geared to gold price but may issue equity to firm balance sheet " cbs.marketwatch.com As a trading stock I like NEM very much indeed. Your call on golds was pretty accurate, may I ask if it was because of TA on general market (SPX, INDU) or TA on gold stocks ?

Mark, Exited most of EPAY when 16 1/2 couldn't hold, I guess it wasn't overdone yet, but general market pretty sad. REV has a lot of options activity with some rumors going around again. Am looking at CNC around the 20 area for a position entry, maybe a LEAP play, change in accounting policy may help in getting upgrade on their debt structure. Looked at ASL with Mike, looks to have a better intraday range than HM, low float as far as we could find. Good Trading Dave

Trader, Thanks for the sage advice. My bones tell me that we have a bottom here for the S&P 500. Could have an up day on Monday with a retest on tue, but my thought is that the direction is up here, and not down. We will have to wait and see. This is off the cuff stuff, and do not hold me to it. Just calling what I see here. When I say "bottom", I mean "relative" and I am looking for a reversal in the near trend. Just a little confusion here and again, I notice some "gold grabbing" here. Probably premature, but we will see. Have my generator and transfer pannel installed and will test tomorrow. As I live in the country with frequent power outages, not a bad idea as it will be useful with or without the "Y" problem. As always, I appreciate your council and I always listen! Best to you and your "Trader wife" and all here! Jack P.S.--The time for a paradigm shift to basic commodities from stocks without a trip through bonds may be near but not just yet!
