uf, I have used Altavista language translator in the past, but now it does not function. I keep getting a server 100 error and that is why I did not post, plus Dave's message is vague. Did he want to translate S/W or other languages.

Did you try this link and type in Hello to translate from English to French and it should give you Bonjour.
Or is it just my browser?

Babelfish I got, but there is one out there (lost or misfiled bookmark here,) that does dialects, like you type a phrase and if you have have selected "Redneck" (not you DownSouth) you get real redneck. Lot's of other choices as well.
