I don't understand why Ballmer said that, but I was amazed how many people jumped out from nowhere and were mad. I mean if a few words from an office of a company could bring down the whole tech stocks, then the stock market isn't healthy by itself. If it was a bubble, it would busted sooner or later no matter what Ballmer said. If the fundamental was solid, it wouldn't be changed by Ballmer's words as well. So Ballmer said the stock is over-valued and all the "smart" guys rushed to sell, if Ballmer said the stock is under-valued, then everybody jumps in buying. That would be really absurd.
