It could have been worse. Presently, most of the second tier and DIY (do it yourself) motherboard supplies are from FIC. FIC is running at 60% capacity! Also, I don't see any serious problems with the chipsets. All these boards use Northbridge chip from AMD and the Southbridge chip from VIA which is a generic one (also used on socket7 boards).
